RSPB (The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds)
RSPB is Britain’s biggest wildlife charity with over 1 million members and 2,000 full time staff. We have a strong commitment to young people and education and our junior members club – Wildlife Explorers – is the world’s biggest wildlife club for children with over 200,000 members. We believe that schools have a vital role to play in preparing young people for the decisions they will need to make as adults. We want all children to experience the joy and wonder of nature and for young people to become responsible citizens. RSPB brings expertise to the Trust in terms of help and advice on the maintenance of grounds, introducing students to different career options, introducing the school to new opportunities and playing a full part in the governance of the school. We are committed to raising standards and bring a wealth of experience of the education sector into the school.
